Multi-Link-Panel. Multi-benefit roof glazing.

Representing a breakthrough in sloped roof glazing, the Multi-Link-Panel modular system outperforms traditional systems in installed cost, performance and appearance.

Be it a factory or warehouse, swimming pool, home or school, new construction, temporary structure or retrofit, the UK Patented (GATT) Multi-Link-Panel, with its innovative "Set & Link" bar system, provides a state-of-the-art cost effective solution for roof Glazing.

The Multi-Link-Panel is a pre-assembled glazing panel, manufactured to size for each individual project. Each panel's construction includes aluminum structural glazing bars fitted with 10 or 16 mm LEXAN Thermoclear multiwall Polycarbonate glazing. Individual panels can span from 9 to 13 Ft. depending on local requirements and sheet thickness.

Multi-Link-Panels' major benefit relates to speed of installation. Pre-assembled in a controlled fabrication environment to job specifications, site installation labor time can be cut by two thirds or more . In retrofit applications, workplace shutdowns or disruptions are minimal.

Handling during installation is safer and easier than with traditional glass systems as panels are constructed from light, high impact materials. The combination enables the extension of bar centers, and reduces the number of glazing bars required versus glass. This also reduces dead loads in roof construction decreasing stress in glazed roof areas.

As panels are pre-assembled in a controlled factory environment, possible contamination caused by on-site cutting of glazing sheet is avoided. Available in mill finish, white, or brown powder coated aluminum and glazed with your choice of LEXAN Thermoclear Polycarbonate sheeting, installed Multi-Link-Panels enhance the appearance of any property, while providing a long term, maintenance free solution to sloped roof glazing.

Much of the quickness and simplicity of the Multi-Link-Panel comes from the patented installation system, with its "Set & Link" aluminum glazing bars. But its long term performance comes from the glazing substrate LEXAN Thermoclear Polycarbonate sheet from General Electric Co.

Incredibly tough, yet light weight, this sheet will withstand shattering, cracking, crazing or breaking. This virtually unbreakable glazing avoids the need for ongoing maintenance programs or resurfacing which are often required with other translucent panel systems. It eliminates the high costs of glass installation and maintenance.

LEXAN Thermoclear sheet can help reduce heating costs providing a U-Value of 0.42 Btu/ Sq. Ft. /F (16mm Triple skin) and better, while offering a choice of tints and thicknesses.

LEXAN Thermoclear is proprietary UV surface protection is backed by a 10-year limited warranty, ensuring that light transmission is maintained in prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Its smooth, flat outward surface means that there are no areas to trap dirt. Rainwater actually ads a self-cleaning element to the glazing.

As a result, you achieve levels of natural light that you want while saving money from adding expensive indoor artificial illumination.
