LEXAN® THERMOCLEAR® VENETIAN SHEET
DESCRIPTION
LEXAN THERMOCLEAR Venetian sheet grades are
members of the LEXAN THERMOCLEAR sheet range of high quality/multi-wall
polycarbonate glazing sheets extruded from LEXAN® resin.
LTC Venetian is LTC which has been screen printed with white strips on
the non-UV coated side. This reduces heat build-up beneath the sheet,
e.g. inside the building.
LTC Venetian drastically reduces the Infra-Red (IR) sun rays absorption
while maintaining a very good light transmission. Approximately 50% of
the total IR rays are reflected to the exterior, resulting in lower solar
transmission through the sheet.

UV RESISTANCE
The complete LEXAN THERMOCLEAR sheet range features a proprietary one-side
surface treatment designed to protect the sheet against the degrading
effects of ultra-violet radiation in natural sunlight. This side must
always be installed facing outwards; the other side, being screen printed,
must always be install facing inwards.
WARRANTY
LEXAN THERMOCLEAR sheet is backed by a ten-year warranty limited against yellowing and loss of light transmission and a five-year warranty against hail damage. (Request details of limited warranty and maintenance instructions.)
NON-STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
All GE Plastics multi-wall sheet products
can be supplied by prior arrangement in non-standard widths, lengths,
and colors. Such arrangements may affect prices, warranty terms and/or
other conditions of sale.
INSTALLATION
All existing installation design parameters shown in the various LTC
grades product data sheets remain valid for LTC Venetian grades.
The white striped side should always be installed facing inwards, the
other side, clearly identified as protected against UV, being installed
facing outwards.
